Clock

A clock is a device used to measure and indicate the passage of time. It typically consists of a face with numbers, often 1 through 12, representing hours, and two or three hands that move around the dial. The hour hand moves slowly, indicating the hour, while the minute and second hands move faster, marking smaller increments of time. Clocks can be analog, with mechanical or quartz movement, or digital, displaying numbers on an electronic screen. Clocks are found in many forms, from wall-mounted or tabletop designs to watches and smartphone interfaces, all serving the essential function of timekeeping.
